Class 8 Sanskrit chapter 1 – सुभाषितानि – Chapter  Hindi Summary

Class 8 sanskrit chapter 1 – सुभाषितानि – Chapter Summary in English

In this lesson, we are going to read beautiful and sweet words, so beautiful and spoken. This text has been taken from Chintan Mantri Nishchandra Panchatantra etc. So let’s read this chapter and see what exactly is written in the end-

In the first verse it is said that the qualities of the virtuous people are the qualities. Receiving the same quality, the virtuous person becomes a fault.
Just as the rivers come out with tasty water from the mountains, but when they reach the sea, they will not be potable.
That is, the behavior (behavior) depends on the person or person, whether it is the quality or the defect.

It is said in the second stanza that the person who is devoid of literature, music and art skills is actually like a beast without a horn and asking. The one who does not eat grass is alive.
Well, it is a matter of pride for animals that some people are also animals.

In the third stanza, various persons have been told about the destruction of various things – which is this – the fame of the greedy person, friendliness of Sagalakhor, the total of dacoits, the religion of the seeker of wealth,
The fruit of the teachings of the evil habits, the happiness of mischief, the state whose minister is filled with dishonesty,
Is destroyed.

In the fourth verse, it is said that as the bee drinks the juice of bitter or sweet flowers equally, it produces sweet juices. In the same way, the sadhus should say the words of the wicked and the gentle people equally and listen to the melodious voice.

The fifth verse has been explained in the same way as the nature of great men does not change even after getting praise, in the same way, the size of 9 does not change in numbers.
Therefore, we should not be overly excited by praising and should not abandon our personal behavior.

In the sixth verse, it is said that the wife or woman should always be happy because of their happiness, the whole family is happy and when they are unhappy, everything feels sad. So from your wife
Abstain from fear and good behavior and love.
